2024 Finseeker 280 DC

Every inch of this boat is filled with well-placed fishing amenities to please even the most serious fisherman and fisherwoman, plus luxurious touches and entertainment features to create the perfect all-around family boat.

Top-of-the-line and well-thought-out features begin at the transom with two stainless steel bow rails strategically placed for easy boarding. A fender storage compartment features a drop-down door to create a convenient, full walk-around swim platform. There's also an easily accessible LCD stereo remote and a freshwater transom shower.

A spacious bow and cockpit layout provides plenty of room for fishing and entertaining. At the transom and portside, bolsters lift up and seats drop down for a comfortable, conversation-friendly seating arrangement that can easily stow away to allow for an open area for casting and fishing. The bolster even provides great cushioning when you're reeling in the big catch. The electric-lift transom seat base lifts to provide easy access to the engine compartment, battery chargers, circuit breakers, trim pumps, and livewell plumbing for easy serviceability. The bench seat, located behind the helm seat, opens to a large, built-in insulated cooler.

Cockpit fishing amenities include an 8-foot-long rod storage area in the floor, rod holders at the gunwale and on the hardtop, a 26-gallon aerated baitwell with clear acrylic access window, a tool/tackle cabinet, two under-seat tackle box storage compartments with six tackle trays each, and two in-floor fishboxes with macerators behind the driver and passenger seats.

The Finseeker by Crownline designers had families in mind when they designed the 280 DC cockpit. Amenities include a cockpit galley with sink, solid-surface countertop, storage drawer, drawer refrigerator, and drink holders. There's a portable side-mount table for use in the cockpit or the bow, and an oversized enclosed head compartment with vessel sink, Silhouette faucet, granite countertop, full upper and lower cabinetry, electric-flush head with 15-gallon holding tank, and opening portlight. LED cockpit and underwater transom lighting adds a special ambience to evening cruises. Every boat needs a great sound system, and the 280 DC does not disappoint with a Wet Sounds premium stereo with eight speakers-two in the bow, two in the cockpit, and four on the hardtop.

Everyone, including the tallest riders, will appreciate the hardtop enclosure with extended height, full windscreens for wind and weather protection, center door, opening center and side vents for air circulation, electric sunshade that fully covers the cockpit area for extra sun and weather protection, overhead hatch, marine misting systems (which can lower the cockpit temperature by as much as 20° F on hot days), and aft projecting work lights. Optional outrigger mounts can also be added to the top.

The helm features the cutting-edge technology that boaters and serious anglers demand. The twin Garmin 9-inch ECHOMAP Plus touchscreens feature engine information, sonar, BlueChart g3 mapping chip, charts, MEGA down imaging and MEGA side imaging. D.T.S. (Digital Throttle and Shift) controls increase shifting functionality and power-assisted joystick steering provides full 360° control, right at your fingertips. The dash features a deluxe steering wheel with a spinner handle, stainless steel push-button switches housed in anodized switch panels with lighted legends, and a black hand-wrapped double-stitched brow. The stainless-steel-framed helm seat is double-wide with dual flip-up bolsters, armrests, and has a matching companion seat wrapped in sharkskin upholstery. The footwell at the helm station folds down and also adjusts to the height of the driver.

The bow closeout door provides additional protection from the elements or an extra breeze when opened. There's also a convenient storage drawer for valuables and a trash can assembly. The expansive bow area has two large lounge seats with comfortable 16° leanbacks and retractable armrests. Full stainless steel bow rails give passengers extra security in rough waters. Combing boxes on both sides provide more storage areas, and there's also a center insulated draining cooler. The bow and below-deck storage areas feature hands-free hinges and an impact-resistant, non-marring coating for durability. The windlass (standard on the 280 DC) access is located at the front and center of the bow in a dedicated compartment with a thru-hull chute. When not being accessed, the lid adds two additional stainless steel cupholders.

Additional value-adding standard features are a four-bank and VSR (Voltage Sensitive Relay) charging system, easy-access battery management panel, trim tabs, six 8-inch stainless steel pull-up cleats, color-matched bow canvas, stainless steel docking lights, and stainless steel hardware, frames, rubrail, grab handles, and cupholders throughout.

The 280 DC also comes standard with a deluxe 10,000-pound aluminum trailer with tandem Dexter torsion axles, brakes on both axles, LED lighting, deluxe hardware, diamond plate fenders, and aluminum black wheels.
