2012 Everglades 243 Center Console Boat in Orange Beach, AL 36561 US

The 243CC from Everglades was one of the first hybrids to hit the market back in 2004. Bob Dougherty really nailed the design with this boat and it really put Everglades on the map. I have sold a lot of these 243s over the years and they make for very happy boaters. People love their 243's and I am one of those people. They can fish the shallow bays and are one of the best riding 24' hulls out there. I have been 40 miles out in the Gulf when the weather turned nasty and the 243 handled it like a champ.

You can feel the quality and the solid build that comes from the patented Ram Cap Hull and Deck Bonding process that Everglades created. This process creates an unsinkable, solid, one-piece beast of a structure.

She is powered with a Yamaha F300UCA that has a proven track record and is the perfect match to the hull. The Yamaha was Serviced at Paradise Marine last year, so she is due for an annual service. As with all Yamaha F300's, it comes with digital controls, giving you smooth and reliable control.

The Sliding Windshield has a small crack in it, but she comes with a new windshield. It will be up to the new owner to install the new windshield.

Things that really make the 243 stand out from other boats is:

*The Flip Up Rear Seats that make a great Casting Platform when stowed

*Sliding Windshield that allows you to get some airflow on those hotter days or slide it up for protection from rain and cold

*Articulating Bolster on Helm Seat that automatically folds down the Footrest when deployed

*Heavy Deadrise at the transom with a Wide Chine at the top that knock water out and away from the boat. This is considered a Hybrid by many, but I personally think of it as an Offshore Hull with Lower Freeboard

*A console that is just big enough to put a porta potti in for those that are not claustrophobic and need the head in a pinch.
