Fiberglass/Reinforced
This Endeavour TrawlerCat is a 36' boat with a 15' beam. This gives a very large living space, but unlike some wider catamarans, it fits into most marina slips.
There are three queen-size staterooms and a nice size salon. A full-size galley is in the port hull and a large head with separate shower is in the starboard hull.
A second head is located forward in the port hull. A generator is located forward in the starboard hull.
The helm station provides great visibility and is fully enclosed with glass windshields forward, and with canvas panels with eisenglass and screen windows aft.
Twin Yanmar diesel engines allow cruising at 8-12 knots. An economical cruising speed is 8 knots which burns only 2 gallons per hour.
This boat has been outfitted for cruising America's Great Loop and has successfully navigated over 6000 miles from Florida, through Canada (two summers), and down the inland rivers to Tennessee.

The Biggest Pros and Cons
The 2001 Endeavour Catamaran Corp 36 TrawlerCat offers a unique blend of features suited for comfortable cruising and efficient performance. Here are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros
Spacious Layout: The catamaran design provides ample living space and stability, making it ideal for extended voyages or liveaboard lifestyles.
Fuel Efficiency: The twin-engine setup and lightweight hulls contribute to better fuel economy compared to traditional monohull trawlers.
Shallow Draft: Its shallow draft allows access to bays, coves, and shallow anchorages that deeper draft vessels cannot reach.
Stability: The wide beam and dual hulls offer excellent stability, reducing rolling and providing a comfortable ride even in choppy waters.
Versatility: Suitable for both cruising and occasional fishing trips, thanks to its functional deck layout.
Cons
Speed Limitations: While efficient, the 36 TrawlerCat is not designed for high speed, so passage times may be longer compared to faster powerboats.
Maintenance Complexity: Twin engines and dual hulls can mean more maintenance tasks and potentially higher upkeep costs.
Maneuverability: Due to its size and twin-hull design, maneuvering in tight marina spaces might require some experience.
Resale Market: Catamaran trawlers have a more niche market, which could impact resale value or the time it takes to sell.
