The Ellis Boat Company was founded in Maine in 1947. They are known for their sea worthy and well built lobster boats still in service today. The company joining the movement to build their reliable displacement hull lobster boats into well thought out yachts.
"Kathi Ann" is a fine example of the modern Downeast picnic boat, and features single Yanmar Diesel, bow and stern thrusters, large cockpit with full length hardtop and full enclosure, cabin with "V-berth", enclosed head, and storage. She was built for her first and only yachtsman owner who has used her exclusively n Northern Lakes Michigan and Huron. She is in excellent condition through out.
