This beautifully cared for 2012 Edgewater 228 CCD is a great boat for serious fishing, family water sports or just cruising with family and friends!
The 228 CCD is powered by a Yanmar 4BY2-180 engine and a ZT370 sterndrive, the boat performs extremely well.
The boat planes at 2,500 RPM and around 15 MPH, where it burns 4 gallons per hour (about 3.7 MPG). At around 3,500 RPM, it makes 27.4 MPH and burns 6.3 GPH.
Notable features include Garmin GPS-fishfinder-chartplotter, Garmin radar, anchor windlass, 3 fish boxes, 28 gallon transom baitwell, underwater lights and much more!
From the owner: Operating cost is a fraction compared to outboard vessels of the same size craft. This boat runs about 3.2 miles per gallon when cruising and only 1/2 gallon when trolling at 5 to 6 knots. I've added the 84" Rhodan trolling motor and paired it with a Dakota lithium battery ease of operation and easy to get to.
