Moving aft to port, the U-shaped galley features built-in sailboat style refrigeration, electric range and copious amounts of storage. The table in U-shaped settee to starboard can be lowered to make a double bunk. The finish throughout is in the Herreshoff style with white bulkheads and satin varnished teak trim and teak cabinetry. The cabin sole is parquet teak. Natural ventilation is provided by overhead hatches and stainless opening ports throughout , and supplemented by reverse cycle A/C.On deck, ACT III features a large teak decked cockpit with built in bench seat and three large lazzarette hatches. Up two steps, the helm area offers a comfortable L-shaped settee to port, and bench style helm seat with storage below to starboard. The seat cushions are upholstered in navy blue sunbrella fabric, and the retractable canvas top is finished in contrasting sand colored Sunbrella canvas. This top has a removable isinglass enclosure with roll up panels on the aft end. The stainless steel framed (with vanished teak cap) windscreen has a centerline vented window , and the fixed glass panels to port and starboard have electric wipers. The wide side decks are finished with sand colored non-skid. The engine room offers excellent access to the machinery via a large deck hatch.
