Dutch Canal Barge built in Holland in 1893 of riveted iron, seized by Allied forces 1942 and powered with GM 671 Deisel (in great conditon). A wealthy family purchased boat after the war, fitted it as private yacht and cruised the eastern seaboard and Caribbean. Encapsulated the hull and deck with fiberglass. Bottom filled with rebar and hydraulic cement. This ship is now in the middle of a total refit. She is very sound, and solid. No leaks or iron wastage. 1000 gallons of fuel and 1500 gallons of water take you anywhere you want to go. Gaff rigged with good sails and new stainless standing rigging. Leeboards draw 12' when down, only 3' when up. Full sized head with walk in shower, Ceiling fans, Washer/Dryer, Pergo Floors, Corian Counters, Diesel Heater, tabernacle mast. Dockage paid thru March 06 includes storage shed full of parts. This is a work in progress, but is very comfortable and ready to move aboard and go anywhere, while you finish it how you want. This is your chance to own a piece of history and to live aboard with out compromising any comfort.
