The Downeaster 38 is a rugged cruising vessel that inspires the imagination with visions of distant ports of call.  She has a comfortable interior that is bright and airy, with enough volume and storage for extended periods aboard.  This particular boat is in very good shape, especially considering her age, a testament to her robust construction.

Blue water cruiser that is ready to be sailed anywhere.  An opportunity to be outfitted by a new owner with the latest equipment in a rapidly changing world of electronics.  Clean solid vessel.  The enclosed quarter berth and forward v-berth have both recently been lined with white cedar.  All 5 opening portlights are new with screens.  All thru hulls have been recently disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled.  This boat has been covered on the hard for four years.
