"BUCKET" is a straight forward, spacious and fun boat with all the equipment needed to cruise, fish or live aboard. The utilitarian, down east, paint and varnish interior sleeps 7. Although she has no exterior varnish the boat always gets a big "thumbs up" in every harbor due to her beautiful lines and "just right" proportions. Very economical to run....burns 3-4 gph at 9 kotns. The bottom has been professionaly glassed and the Detroit Diesel newly rebuilt. In commission and cruising now and every summer.....stored every winter "BUCKET" awaits a new master...owner must sell due to health issues. Go cruising and fishing this Fall for short money!

Starting at the bow there is a chain locker with door then a large single berth to stbd. with drawers under and hanging locker aft to stbd. Aft to stbd is the galley with Formica counter, sink with h/c pressure water, stove area, refrigerator and breaker panel. There are numerous drawers and lockers in the galley and generous counter space.
Across from the galley to port is a double berth with drawers under. Aft of the berth is the enclosed head with shower. Three steps up through the main bulkhead, which can be closed off, is the spacious and bright pilothouse/salon.
The helm station with all controls is to port and the radar and chart table are on the stbd dash. Large, opening windows provide plentiful air and light with great visibility. To stbd a 7' sofa can be converted into a large double berth or upper and lower berths. A huge storage area is located under the sofa seat. To port a four person, raised dinette has wonderful harbor view with storage under and converts into a 1 1/2 berth.
A centerline door leads out into the large cockpit. The cockpit is equipped with six rod holders, a rod rack and storage under the wash deck. A teak-stepped ladder leads up to the flying bridge that seats six comfortably.
Mechanical
DD 4-53 completely rebuilt in 2003 with 140 total hrs since overhaul. Heavy-duty propeller shaft thrust bearing arrangement behind engine. Flexible drive-line between propeller shaft and reverse gear. Keel cooler and heat exchanger for engine cooling. Two 90 gal monel fuel tanks and two 35 gal monel water tanks. New muffler.

A DC breaker panel services the 12 volt DC system. AC outlets are serviced via a shore cord and cockpit recepticle.
