"EVENTIDE" is a 1963 Steel 53' Trawler Yacht designed by Arthur DeFever and built by Skallrud & Sons, Wilmington, CA. She has a displacement hull with a deep forefoot, flat after sections and full keel giving her excellent handling characteristics in most sea conditions. The full keel protects her single shaft from damage. She has a rounded transom stern, raked bow, raised trunk cabin with flush decks midship and full length flybridge. She has sleeping accommodations for up to six. Her full galley is on the main deck along with the lower helm station. She is designed for extensive offshore voyaging with 4000 gallons of fuel. She has cruised the Pacific, Pacific Northwest, Baja California, Caribbean, Gulf and Atlantic Coasts and the current owner has cruised her to La Paz and Cabo San Lucas Mexico and the Puget Sound.
