The 1986 DeFever 40 is a rugged, Taiwan-built fiberglass trawler known for its stable, fuel-efficient, and spacious double-cabin design. Key features include a 14.5 ft beam, walkaround decks with high bulwarks, dual helm stations (flybridge and salon), and single diesel engine that offer an 8-12 knot cruise.
Owners are moving and unfortunately need to sell their much loved DeFever, Briny Marlin. A terrific boat for the Great Loop, (economical and 16" air draft), traveling the ICW or to live aboard.
