Warner, the 43ââ?¬â?¢ cutter rigged motor sailor "Congar" was described at her debut in 1949 by Rudder magazine as being, ââ?¬Å?..built of the finest materialsââ?¬ï¿½. Renowned Maine boat builder Paul E. Luke was quoted calling "Congar", ââ?¬Å?quite a boatââ?¬ï¿½. She is very sturdily built to the specifications of a much larger vessel; the scant lings are those of a seventy footer.
