Douce Amie� is a wonderful wooden daysailer which received an extensive restoration� during the winter of 1999/2000. The boat was originally built in 1947 at the Brigham Shipyard in Greenport Long Island. Most of Douce Amieâ��s life was spent sailing the shores of Connecticut and New York, only recently did the boat find itâ��s way to Maine. Recently surveyed (10/20/18) she has been determined to be in excellent shape.
This vessel has been donated to Maine Island Trail Association and the sale will greatly help� this organization.
