Aage Nielsen and Paul Luke were long term collaborators; working together as designer and builder respectively, producing over 20 stunning sailing yachts that were built to a standard that was difficult to achieve.� After 57 years of thoughtful care such were Nielsen's design and specification skills and Luke's building skills that TAYGETA has not warranted any notable rebuild work though three or four nominal repairs/replacements have been made.� As testimony to her sailing prowess she won the Halifax Race in '91 and innumerable local series out of Marblehead as well several NYYC Cruise races over the years!
