Cons
Age of the Vessel: Being a 1978 model, potential buyers should be mindful of the age, which may bring challenges such as wear and tear, outdated systems, and the need for maintenance or upgrades.
Limited Speed Under Motor: While the motorsailer is designed for dual capabilities, its motor performance may not match that of a dedicated powerboat. For those prioritizing speed under motor, this could be a drawback.
Older Technology: The onboard systems, including electronics and navigation equipment, may be outdated compared to modern boats. Upgrading these systems can require additional investment.
Maintenance Requirements: Older boats often require more regular maintenance. Potential owners should be prepared for upkeep, which can include hull inspections, engine servicing, and addressing any structural concerns.
