She was built by a true Wanchese boat building legend, Irving Forbes and is 100% constructed out of composite materials, so no rot to worry about down the road... She came out of the shop in May of 25 and with less than 100 hours on her, she has already caught Tuna and Dolphin around the Point, Cobia off the beach, Speckled trout in the Sound and cruised all over with the family. She has spent the winter inside of a shop and is about to come back on the scene.
At 5800 lbs loaded, she cruises at a steady 35 mph with a single YAMAHA 350 and burns just 16gph. She tops out just shy of 50 mph. Her bottom design allows for a comfortable, dry ride and is very responsive to the throttle and handles well. She is not only beautiful, but is very clean and simple, easy to maintain, yet rigged up very specifically for a boat that can thrive in a variety of different fishing and family situations.
Her tower is well thought out and built to get the most out of while maintaining a sleek footprint along the centerline and helm layout area. There is ample storage throughout the boat and a huge step-in, side console access that also ties into a long finished out storage tunnel running forward to the anchor locker bulkhead.
There is also no worrying with in-deck fish boxes and undependable macerator pumps...She has a bona fide Oregon Inlet transom fishbox that will hold more fish than you'd care to clean. She was built and laid out by a local fisherman and it shows when fishing or just moving around in the boat. Her practicality and simplicity make her the perfect boat for the Outer Banks or Chesapeake Bay fisherman but she's also plenty comfortable and suitable to cruise with the family or anchor up off the Sand Island and have some fun. She would also make a great tender / "small boat" to a bigger traveling Sportfishing program in any destination that offers options for exploration or inshore fishing opportunities.
She comes with a 2025 LoadRite double axle aluminum trailer and the motor is warrantied through April 2030. This boat is really sharp, clean and shiny and totally rigged up.
