Meet the 2027 Crestliner XFC 179-a bass/bay boat that looks as sharp as it fishes, finished in a hue that feels right at home from first light to last cast. Built from aluminum and designed around an open-top layout, it's the kind of rig that keeps things simple, capable, and ready to chase the next bite.
At 17.7 ft (5.4 m) long with a 90 in (2.3 m) beam, the XFC 179 strikes that sweet spot: big enough to feel confident when you're moving around and lining up a cast, yet nimble enough to slip into the spots that hold fish. The 10° deadrise helps it stay composed while you're on the move, and with a 20 in transom height it's set up for outboard power-up to 90 hp (67.2 kW) recommended-driving a classic propeller setup.
Bring your fishing buddy (or two). This boat is rated for 4 passengers, with a weight capacity of 1,178 lbs (534 kg), and it keeps your days on the water going with a 21-gallon (79.5 L) fuel capacity. At 1,603 lbs (727.1 kg) dry weight, it's a confident platform that still feels purpose-built for anglers who want to spend more time fishing and less time fussing.
Up front, the fishing focus continues: you get two fishing pedestal chairs, plus a chair-style helm seat for comfortable runs between spots. And when the action's steady, the 46-gallon (195 L) total fishbox capacity is ready for the haul-because a good day deserves good storage.
Need to work a shoreline quietly or pick apart a point with precision? The included MotorGuide® trolling motor is there to help you slow it down and stay on fish. In this Crestliner XFC 179, every trip feels like an excuse to make "one more cast" the plan-not the exception.
