The Corsair 28 R, like all of its predecessors & current sisters, is an easily trailerable sport boat because of its light weight & low profile on the trailer. As with other Corsair trimarans, the transition from trailering to sailing takes about 30 minutes. The mast is raised or lowered using the installed winch on the trailer as with all Corsairs. Everything about the Corsair 28 R is designed to get you on the water & across the water quickly, comfortably & affordably. The aft-cockpit is the lightest weight hull configuration and is topped off with a carbon fiber mast. for light weight aloft.
The outboard was serviced in 2017 and only has about 10 hours since that service.
Top speed potential is 25 knots, which is an absolute blast, but even in light air she will out sail almost any other boat on the water.
