This Corsair F-27 is a hall of fame pocket cruiser that is also a racer's dream! It's an easily trailerable trimaran because of its light weight and low profile on the trailer. Tow it to Baja or anywhere you want to sail. As with other Corsair trimarans, the transition from trailering to sailing only takes about 30 minutes. The Corsair F-27 has a roomy, functional interior with all the necessary amenities for comfortable overnight cruising. There are sleeping accommodations for four, a galley area with portable two-burner stove, sink, ice chest, and a portable marine head with privacy curtain. Seat / bunk cushions are standard and the interior fabric liner is beige This F-27 aluminum mast of airfoil section that has been upgraded to a double spreader system. The mast is raised or lowered using the installed winch on the trailer. This is a straight forward operation that can be accomplished easily in a few minutes, even with only one person. The mast with the double spreader system being efficient and powerful on the water and easy handling on the trailer. The rudder pivots up 180-degrees for trailering. This and the fully retractable daggerboard also enables the 27 to pull in close to shore and anchor in knee-deep water, or even put the Corsair F-27 onto a sandy beach. The rugged dual axle galvanized steel trailer recently serviced and will provide many miles and years of trouble free trailering. Surge brakes, lights and spare wheel are provided.
