1986 Correct Craft Ski Nautique Boat in Tyler, TX 75703 US

1986 Ski Nautique (2001 hull style) The exterior condition of the boat is in great shape. It will need buffed and polished due to fading. The vinyl is in poor shape, and seat bases are made of wood a rotting. The stringers show signs of rot, and the floor is delaminating.

This boat is worthy of restoration. The extierior is in very good shape. There are a few pea sized chips in the gelcoat. This gel could be buffed a polished to near perfect condition. Correct Craft enthusiast would know how thing the gel coat is on the old Nautiques (Nautanks).

This boat has the older rotocast driver seat, and seat boxes. The bases themselves are made of wood and rotting. The vinyl is in very poor shape, and the coaming pads are wood, and rotting as well. The motorbox is fiberglass, and is still in great shape. The interior in this boat would have been optional interior known as deluxe interior, stern seats, coaming pads, and vinyl covered motor boxes were upgrades.

Nautiques pre 1993 had wood stingers. The stringers are showing signs of rot. The floors were foam filled floors with fiberglass laid on top of the floor. Correct Craft also laid wood into the foam where screws would be used to hold down seats. The wood laid under the fiberglass floor is more than likely rotted as well.

The engine runs great. This is a Ford 351 right hand rotation engine. The transmission is a velvet drive 1:1 and goes into forward and reverse.

The trailer is in good shape, it will need new tires if towing home
