The performance of the Contender 36 is excellent. It handles the big seas well and gets you there fast over long distances. The boat has been repowered with Yamaha 350 HP engines, this boat reaches 60 MPH with ease.
The Contender 36 comes with a head, coffin box with hydraulic to open the hatch below, two above-deck live wells in the transom, and huge in-deck fish boxes outboard on both sides to handle numerous large tuna.
There is plenty of storage for all your gear in three large storage wells forward of the console. There is also plenty of rod storage throughout the boat. Five vertical rod holders on each side of the helm console, four more across the back of the T-top, five across leaning post back and racks for seven rods in each of two large in-deck compartments forward of the console to securely hold every rod you and your guests would care to bring aboard.
