**The boat was re-propped in September with a brand new SS prop in the correct pitch and was successfully sea trialed twice at that time.
Oldie, but Goodie! This 1998 Contender 21 center console was repowered in 2018 with a Suzuki 250 V6, and at that same time, a Minn Kota Terrova 36v I-pilot trolling motor was installed.
She boasts a fan-favorite light sea foam green hull and new saddle upholstery. The fuel tank is original, but the owner has not had an issue and the tank was successfully pressure-checked when repowered. Compression on the engine was fantastic with no signs of leaks or corrosion. Very clean engine.
The boat could use some TLC in areas....let's start with the hull and interior:
Several nicks on the upper chines and keel (nothing too crazy). Stress cracks in normal areas on the interior. Larger crack on the port gunnel top (likely from docking). The floor could use a nice Safe-Floor or Seadek upgrade and the back hatches could be redone, etc. A decent fiberglass guy could fix these cracks, nicks for maybe $2-$3k depending on how picky you are. Again, ALL cosmetic...if you just want to fish, then you don't have to do any of it.
Here is a list of 12V items that are currently not working:
- Garmin GPS is stuck on mapping page (would recommend replacing)
- Anchor light
- Bait well (located in the floor)
- Port-side speakers
The seller has decided to not pump money into it and instead just dump the price (originally @ $38,990) so the new owner can fix what he/she wants.
Afterall, this is one of the most coveted 21 footers on the planet. She is ready to meet a new owner that is willing to put a little love into her systems, etc.
