Designed by Bill Tripp, this is one of the prettiest Classic designs you will find combining great performance and interior comfort. The Columbia 50 has been known as a hard driving ocean racer/cruiser winning many first places in big league races. She has a sea kindly hull and offers a superb ride, with flush deck and a divided cockpit to separate the helmsman from the hustle of the sheet tenders, she was truly designed with racing in mind. Yet the interior is very comfortable and well appointed as a cruising sailboat. This sloop rigged version is the standard layout and has been lovingly maintained by one owner. She has many upgrades as well as a huge sail inventory, many of which are nearly brand new. She is equipped for world cruising with hydrovane self steering, SSB radio, optional Ham radio, two GPS with charts, and she is lightning grounded throughout.
