THE FINEST "READY TO GO CRUISING" BOAT YOU CAN BUY FOR UNDER $40,000!

Plus she's a "Nice as you please" classic that will satisfy both the Captain and First Mates desires whether they be cosmetic, mechanical, electrical, or overall comfort and sail-ability.

This Columbia 40, a Charlie Morgan design, was custom built from a bare hull and deck assembly with centerboard and rudder. The hull was acquired by the builder (the current owner's father) in 1969 and she was launched in 1971. She is trimmed in Honduras mahogany inside and out, and equipped for long-term cruising. Designed a racer/cruiser, she sails beautifully and is a sea kindly boat. Her centerboard design allows for a shoal draft, 4'9" board up, but provides good performance to windward and in big seas with board down. She has been sailed up and down the ICW, extensively in the Bahamas, to Cuba, and for the past five years has been sailed in Isla Mujeres where her owners have spent winters living aboard and cruising the Yucatan Coast. She has just completed a passage from Mexico to southern Georgia where she now lies. She is equipped with all the amenities needed for a boat that is your home and your  ticket to ride to far-off places. She is a family heirloom that has been outfitted and maintained to a level that most of us can only hope to achieve.

Don't miss this opportunity to own this exceptional "classic". Call us today to set up an appointment to get aboard.
