The Cobalt 360 Performance Cruiser brings to market all the amenities of a cruiser coupled with all the performance of a sportboat. Equipped with dozens of standard features and buoyed by an options list that ranges from air-conditioning to a global positioning system / radar in a single unit, the 360 arrives with a carefully tuned hull ready to take on big, rough water. The 360 incorporates classic styling with the long, clean lines that have defined Cobalt design for 30 years. Forward, there is a windlass with a Delta anchor. A walk-through door waits at the transom, with a concealed boarding ladder. From bow to stern, all the Cobalt standards are present: stainless steel windshield frame, bow scuff plate, stainless steel bow rail, and transom storage. The cockpit is a study in comfort and convenience with removable 40-ounce carpet, an ice chest, a double table, a sink running hot and cold water, a cabin door with a screen and, for an extra measure of usefulness, a 110-volt outlet. The instrumentation is comprehensive and aircraft-quality: a compass, a depth gauge, temperature gauges for air and water, an hour meter, and a trim-tab indicator system. The design of the dash carries some nice surprises: zero-effort engine controls and Waterfall Bubinga wood with all of its eye appeal and durability. In the cabin there is a table and a berth (mid-cabin), a refrigerator / freezer, a stove, a microwave, and a fiberglass head unit with a shower. The 360 has made provisions for big-water missions with power packages from Yanmar diesels, Mercruiser, and Volvo big-blocks available in twin stern drives with selections up to 500 horsepower. The warranty provides for a full 5 years of coverage on the powertrain, 10 years on the hull and deck.

Cobalt 360: BoatTEST Review
Overview
The Cobalt 360 is the flagship model of Cobalt's performance cruiser lineup, blending world-class quality with impressive speed and agility. Designed as a sport yacht, it offers a combination of modern styling, high performance, and refined cabin decor that meets the standards of premier cruising vessels. While it is a versatile boat suitable for weekend getaways, its sophisticated design and premium features position it as a luxurious and exclusive option.
Interior Living Spaces
Inside the 360's cabin, the craftsmanship and quality materials are immediately apparent. The interior is richly appointed with supple tan leather upholstery and features a forward V-shaped settee paired with a cherry wood dining table, providing ample space for relaxation or dining. This area can be converted into the main berth by adding three filler cushions, allowing for comfortable overnight accommodations. The galley, located to port, is equipped with a granite countertop, polished stainless steel sink and faucet, and concealed appliances including a microwave oven and refrigerator. To starboard, the head includes a vacuum flush toilet, vanity with sink, and a shower. Additionally, the aft cabin offers a deep double berth suitable for guests or children, though its compact size may feel somewhat confined to some.
Exterior Design and Cockpit
The cockpit of the Cobalt 360 is designed for both entertaining and comfort. It features a large U-shaped settee to starboard and a smaller L-shaped settee to port, providing generous seating options. A wet bar on the port side includes a sink with a pressurized faucet, and storage cabinets below conceal an ice maker and additional storage space. The helm station is notable for its comprehensive array of gauges, controls, and electronic instrumentation, all set against a jet black dash accented with exotic bubinga wood. The electronic engine controls operate the throttles and transmission without cables, enhancing responsiveness. At the stern, sun lounges allow guests to relax with maximum exposure to the activity platform.
Power and Performance
Measuring 36 feet in length and 10 feet 6 inches in beam, the Cobalt 360 weighs approximately 13,700 pounds. It is powered by twin MerCruiser 375 horsepower stern drives equipped with Bravo 3 propellers, requiring a minimum water depth of 42 inches. The boat demonstrated excellent handling at high speeds, achieving a top speed of 49.8 miles per hour at 4,800 RPM. Its optimal cruising speed was recorded at just over 36 miles per hour at 3,500 RPM, delivering fuel efficiency of 1.3 miles per gallon and a cruising range exceeding 205 miles on a full tank.
Conclusion
The Cobalt 360 exemplifies a no-compromise approach to design and manufacturing, offering a performance cruiser that excels in speed, handling, and luxury accommodations. Its blend of refined interior spaces, well-appointed cockpit, and powerful propulsion make it a compelling choice for discerning boaters seeking both style and substance in a sport yacht.
