The 200's classic deep-V hull delivers superb ride and handling characteristics, especially on the rougher waters found on larger lakes. The 200's helm station is efficiently designed. The dash panels are made of aluminum for maximum structural integrity; they tilt outward for easy manipulation of flip switches. A padded eyebrow shades the gauges from glare. The gauges, including a standard hour meter, bear silkscreened nomenclature superimposed on the Cobalt crest. The dash is upholstered with hand-stitchery. The look and feel is automotive, elegant, and functional. Rosewood panels, an illuminated compass, and in-dash depth gauge are optional. The 200's standard features include: a Sony digital sound system with four waterproof speakers, walk-thru bow doors, snap-in bow and cockpit carpet (removable for easy cleaning), a leather steering wheel with tilt, flip-lip bucket seats, carpeted storage areas, a built-in ice chest, and a color-matched convertible top. Skiers appreciate the 200's wake curl and crest, its table turbulence, its ski-tow eye, and its visibility both forward and to the rear. The ski locker is large and convenient (wide enough for ski boards), with a gas-assisted door, hooks for tangle-free stowage of ropes, and a strong lock. Bow-scuff plate guards the gelcoat during trailering, the aluminum backing plates embedded in fiberglass hold hardware tight and firm. The exclusive Hydrolam process brings seven layers of strength to the hull and deck, as glass mat and woven roving are meticulously hand-laid in a molding process that goes on for days. AME 1000 vinylester resin enhances the lamination quality, bringing superior strength, toughness, tensile elongation, adhesion properties, and resistance to chemicals and water. Cobalt uses 100% vinylester resin in every layer of laminate. Powered by a Mecruiser 350 Mag V8, you'll have plenty of power for towing, tubes, skiers and boarders!
