Bleu dââ¬â¢Aquitaine is a beautiful and serious ocean going cutter designed by Philippe Briand and built by CNB Yacht Builders, Bordeaux, France. She is a one owner boat, the present owners having taken possession in 2009. She is a composite version of the popular aluminum CNB 70. She is a true cutter design with headsail, staysail and main all equipped with Reckman remote controlled furling systems. She has a sleek, low profile, deck saloon design with a nearly flush teak deck and two cockpits, one forward for entertaining and one aft for steering, navigation and sail controls. Her transom deftly hides a convenient remotely controlled swim platform and passarelle. Six powerful winches (four hydraulic) surround the aft cockpit and four (two hydraulic) surround the mast. The Interior is well lighted, beautiful and elegant, with teak cabin soles, maple and teak furniture, leather upholstery and light overhead. Her wrap around windows, numerous flush hatches and ports allow a flood of natural light and ventilation throughout the interior. Accommodations include a spacious main saloon, large galley to port, comfortable navigation area to starboard, a roomy master suite aft, two guest double cabins forward, each with its own head, and further forward a double crew cabin.
