Chris White Designs Catamarans are among the most sought after catamarans. They are rare, fast and striking in apperance. Chris White Design Catamarans feature innovative design, such as forward helm station and easy to handle sailing controls.
This example will be noticed in any anchorage and will sail circles around most catamarans. The easy to operate, daggerboard design is perfect for very fast upwind performance when lowered and shallow draft for getting the best pick for anchorage.
The owner is sad to report that while motoring south in the ICW west of Jupiter Island FL in late March, I hit a steel H pile and broke the front crossbeam free of the hulls, causing the mast to come down and resulting in installation of a complete new rig: mast, boom, front crossbeam, all standing rigging and masthead electrics (excepting the radar, to be bench tested prior to reinstallation). Windsong is presently undergoing repairs at the Hinckley Yacht yard in Stuart, FL
Damage to the hull was slight- the mast fell across the lifelines to port and did no damage to the hulls beyond scraping off the fairing filler for about 3' along the deck to hull edge. The port outboard stainless steel pushpit railing, lifelines and stanchions are being replaced. This vessel will be in better than before condition.
New Update!!!!! Price has been reduced and Windsong will re-launch in Stuart FL in Mid-September- after extensive refit:
· Complete New Rig! (mast, front crossbeam, boom, shrouds, all standing rigging) By Sparcraft USA & Mack Sails & Rigging.
· New mast electrics! (VHF antenna, Cell antenna, lights- radar new 2013 & bench tested summer 2015).
· New bottom Job! (2 (3 in high wear areas) coats Petit Trinidad SR, multiple coats Petit Vivid on saildrives, PropSpeed on props)
· New Oil & fuel filters, lube fluids.
· New waterproof grommets on watermaker supply & shower sump discharge thru bulkhead ahead of engine room
· New trampoline! (ATN Knitted White Polyamide 13mm square for super comfortable lounging)

Pros
Performance: The Atlantic offers excellent speed and agility, thanks to its trimaran design, making it ideal for both cruising and competitive sailing.

Cons

Docking and Storage: Wider beam due to the amas can make docking and finding marina slips more challenging and potentially more expensive.
Cost: High-quality build and advanced design features may come with a higher initial purchase price compared to similar-sized monohulls.
Weight: While trimarans are generally lighter, the Atlantic’s robust build can result in a heavier boat, which may impact trailering options or require specialized transport.
