No Expense Spared on This Professionally Restored 1955 Chris Craft Holiday 18 Runabout! Chris-Craft 6 Cylinder 95hp Engine !
Per seller, this 1955 Chris-Craft Holiday 18 is a museum-quality restoration that looks great and runs great.
The 6-cylinder engine (95 HP) was made by Ford specifically for Chris-Craft and is original to the boat.
All of the instruments, accessories, windscreen, steering, throttle, and floor gear shirt are original and refurbished to original standards.
The wooden hull was in excellent condition, but it has also been completely refurbished and covered along the bottom keel with a fiberglass coating.
The cockpit has also been totally refurbished inch-by-inch by antique wooden boat professionals in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is no "home garage resto" project. The mahogany engine cover is splendid. The interior ribbing has been restored to factory-spec and then covered by artisan-crafted mahogany "ceiling boards" -- which was a top-of-the-line interior upgrade when these boats were originally manufactured. The dash, seats and all forward & aft decking has been completely restored. All paint is new and to factory spec. The varnishing is superb.
ALL of the original, factory-spec decaling in place -- just as it would have been displayed on the showroom floor in 1955.
Comes with a brand new Chris-Craft trailer and cover.
