She's located in Kingston, Oklahoma, and has only been used in freshwater. The boat has had several updates and is in great condition inside and out.
The vessel has been restored. The engines have been thoroughly checked and cosmetically outfitted with chrome valve covers, alternators, and cooling hoses have been updated with stainless steel braided hose and alloy fittings.
The interior of the vessel has been updated with teak decks, countertops, headliners, wall coverings, bedding, cushions, furniture, lighting, salon, and redesigned air conditioning/heating systems.
The Chris Craft Commander is a great boat with plenty of room for extended cruising or a wonderful live-aboard. Through a beautiful sliding door, you enter the salon, which is also home to the lower helm. The salon is very spacious and has plenty of storage.
Access to the engines is quite easy with the hatch located in the center of the salon. If extensive work is needed in the engine room, the floor boards easily remove for access.
Entering the main cabin of the boat you will be greeted by a well-equipped galley to the port side. The galley has a three-burner stove and oven combination. Along with the other welcomed appliances, there is plenty of counter space for food prep.
Starboard in the cabin is the salon.
You will find a spacious head. The head is also accessible from the bow cabin. The bow cabin has a large platform berth that will comfortably sleep two. There is plenty of storage here with pull-out drawers and a hanging locker.
When underway, you can utilize the lower helm on less-than-beautiful days or go up to the bridge and enjoy the outdoors. The unobstructed view makes the upper helm a great place to be, whether you're underway or just relaxing in your favorite cove, watching the perfect sunset.
