This vessel is a nice example of the popular David Pedrick design. She was built in 1981 in Shanghai by the highly reputable Cheoy Lee Shipyard Ltd. Designer David Pedrick comes from a background of race boat design and was heavily involved in the America's Cup and the 12 Metre Rule. The Pedrick 41 is much faster than many of the other Cheoy Lee hull designs.
"Stargazer" is very handsome with a high freeboard and low-profile cabin top. This hull is the centerboard model with a draft of 4'4" board up and a deep 9' with the board down. The current owner has had her for a good portion of her life and has done extensive work over the years. She is well maintained and loved.
