MARLINESPIKE is a nicely maintained 1986 40' CHB Ponderosa Aft Cabin Motor Yacht, moored in Seattle on freshwater Lake Union. She presents very well, clean and ready to cruise.
Her classic layout is arranged with an open salon, stepped down forward to a full galley and adjacent dinette. Two ensuite staterooms include guest's forward and owner's aft. Ventilation is superb with opening ports and windows plus heating ensured with a diesel furnace system.
There are command stations with one in the salon and another on the flybridge.
The aft deck is fully enclosed with canvas and vinyl isinglass shrouds. The flying bridge can be equally treated with the addition of shrouds to the existing retractable hinged tube armature.
The swimstep, accessed from the aft deck, is arranged with an included fiberglass tender.
Previously a liveaboard, she may* be assumable in her present front row slip featuring full views of lake Union and downtown Seattle skyline. (*Buyer would arrange separately with marina management.)
