But the real magic of Chaparral innovation happens when you open the port side entry door and discover a space defying lavish full beam cabin. While most rivals at this length settle for a split beam design where neither area satisfies, the 347's unified cabin comes complete with an entertainment console, enclosed head and overnight accommodations for two. The 347 SSX comes standard with twin 9" touch screen displays with Chartplotter, GPS, WiFi, Insight Charts, Transducer and Engine Data functions. A full digital instrumentation completes the helm with fog resistant glass lenses, brushed aluminum faces and stainless steel bezels. Our luxurious, leather wrapped steering wheel is sure to make every voyage an enjoyable one.

The sleeping area converts easily from a bed for two into an L-shaped couch, upholstered in color-coordinated ultra suede fabrics treated with Scotchgard for durability. A unique feature in this class is the inclusion of a seat-aligned closet. Natural light enters through three screen-covered portholes. The optimal cruising speed was identified at 3500 RPM and 23 miles per hour, consuming 9.4 gallons per hour and offering a range of 330 statute miles while maintaining a 10% fuel reserve. The hull design features a 22-degree dead rise at the transom with an extended V-plane, enhancing buoyancy, improving fuel efficiency, stability, and providing a smooth ride in choppy conditions. The relatively high freeboard also supports confident offshore use.
