Standard features include bow ice chest, cockpit table, galley with sink and ice chest, hinged bow cushions with storage under, walk-thru bow and transom doors, premium sound system, in-floor storage locker, tilt steering, trim tabs, extended swim platform, transom shower, cockpit lights, and lockable glove box. Docking lights and underwater lights are optional, and filler cushions turn the bow area into a huge sun pad. The custom steering wheel is a nice touch, as is the solid-surface countertop in the galley. Easy engine access is a plus. Note the concealed boarding ladder at the bow. A good performer, the 287 SSX will cruise at 35?36 knots with a single MerCruiser 8.2 sterndrive engine (high 40s top).
