This 1999 Chaparral 233 Sunesta LE is located in Brigeport, CT and powered by a 310 hp Volvo 5.7 GSi with a Volvo SX outdrive - only 350 hours. She has been maintained and serviced professionally at local boatyard by marine mechanics. New manifolds, risers, and battery in 2012.
With the optional 310 hp powerplant, this 233 Sunesta will leave the typical low to mid-200 hp 233's in its wake.
This roomy bowrider/deckboat is a great choice for fishing, water skiing/sports, or just enjoying a day on the water with family and friends - up to 14 people. The large bimini top covers the entire cockpit while there is room for 6- sun-lovers in the wide bow seating area. You can board through the transom gate or the gate on the starboard side of the bow seating. The large swim platform has a built-in cooler to port and a telescoping swim ladder to starboard.
In the cockpit, you'll find an L-shaped wraparound bench seat which easily converts to a large sun pad with the included cushion - or set up the removable table for drinks and snacks. Just forward of the helm is a wet bar with pressure water. The port side of the split console houses a spacious lighted changing room/head with a porta-potti equipped with a convenient deck pump out. The helm has a bucket seat w/flip-up bolster and full instrumentation, with all controls at your fingertips. Just forward of the helm is a large enclosed storage area. A dedicated removable cooler is to starboard aft of the helm.
Entering the forward seating area through the split windshield, the large seating area is impressive. There's an entry gate to starboard, a built-in cooler forward, and a bow swim platform with stainless telescoping swim ladder. The below deck storage area has plenty of room for fishing rods, water skis, tubes, etc.and there's more storage under the seats. When the going gets rough, close the storm door that separates the bow area from the cockpit and the windshield gate to keep the spray out of the cockpit.
