Fun and beautiful almost brand new trailerable custom folding trimaran using Scarab 650 build kit

According to the designer, the Scarab 650 Sport is a brand new design incorporating many of the desirable features of the previous Scarabs and the new Scarab 18.

A double berth and two quarter berths, plenty of stowage space with a porta-potti stowed under the cockpit make up the accommodation. An offset centreboard (housed in the starboard settee riser) eliminates the problem of the centreboard case taking up cabin space

This boat has all the good features of the Scarab 18 but is a longer more powerful boat

The Scarab 650 Sport has accommodation for four. A double berth up forward and two settee/quarter berths in the main area of the cabin.

The quarter berths may also be utilized for stowage or galley equipment if required. For a crew of two the ideal setup will be to use the forward berth for stowage and sleep on the settees, a divided cushion on one side will facilitate a galley unit being slid out from under the cockpit seat. A porta-potti can be stored under the cockpit.
