She has wheel steering and is a large, all American family starter boat, a perfect day sailor for Long Island Sound. The 135% roller furling genoa and 100% main are in good condition and new halyard ropes are ready for this season.  Both the upper and lower stays were replaced in 2013 and all the cushions were replaced in 2009. She is powered by a Universal Atomic 4 30 HP gas engine. 80% of the sailboats manufactured in this era were powered by this workhorse engine with a longevity and reliability proven by the fact that thousands of sailors still depend on the engine.
