The beautifully updated Catalina offers the perfect balance of proven offshore capability, comfortable liveaboard cruising, and thoughtful modern upgrades. Having spent over two decades in fresh water before being extensively refit for full-time cruising, this vessel stands apart with minimal corrosion, exceptional care, and an impressive list of upgrades completed between 2022 and 2026. From the Bahamas to the Dominican Republic, she has been actively cruised and refined by experienced liveaboard owners who spared no expense preparing her for extended offshore adventures.
Below decks, the spacious two-cabin layout delivers remarkable comfort and livability with 6'8" headroom, warm finishes, and excellent storage throughout. The port-side galley is exceptionally practical and sea friendly, featuring upgraded Formica countertops, enlarged folding prep space, extensive pantry storage, and a large stainless-steel sink with integrated cutting board and drying rack. Refrigeration and freezer systems were completely upgraded with CoolBlue components, enhanced insulation, and modern monitoring systems for efficient long-term cruising. Comfort aboard is further enhanced with a Mabru 17,000 BTU marine air conditioning and heating system, hot water tank, portable washing machine, and a SeaWater Pro 40 GPH watermaker.
Electronics and power systems have been comprehensively modernized for reliable offshore cruising and comfortable off-grid living. Highlights include a new Garmin GPSMAP 8612xsv chartplotter installed in 2026, Garmin AIS transceiver, radar, autopilot, masthead wind instruments, dual-station VHF communication, and Starlink connectivity. The vessel is exceptionally well-equipped electrically with 660Ah of Victron lithium batteries, 1000 watts of solar, five Victron SmartSolar controllers, Cerbo GX monitoring, Victron MultiPlus inverter/charger, upgraded Balmar charging system, Fischer Panda generator, and Honda backup generator.
On deck, the boat is configured for safe and efficient shorthanded sailing with upgraded running rigging systems, self-tailing winches, Mack Sails mainsail and 130% genoa (2022), whisker pole, cockpit line handling upgrades, and a recent rigging inspection completed in May 2026. The cockpit is comfortable and protected with a Wavestopper hard dodger, full Sunbrella enclosure, cockpit cushions, shade surrounds, stern perch seating, and thoughtful cruising additions throughout.
Ground tackle and safety equipment are equally impressive, including a Rocna 25kg anchor with 248 feet of G4 chain, secondary Bruce anchor setup, AIS transceiver, EPIRB, jacklines, inflatable harness lifejackets, safety tethers, ditch bag, and multiple backup systems throughout the vessel.
Powered by a reliable Yanmar 50HP diesel engine paired with a fixed three-blade bronze propeller, this Catalina has proven herself as an efficient and capable passagemaker while remaining exceptionally comfortable at anchor or dockside.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase a fully outfitted, extensively upgraded cruising yacht that is actively cruising and ready for her next adventure immediately.

Owners Comments and Boat History
This vessel was originally purchased by a doctor in North Carolina who owned her for four years and regularly cruised the Bahamas based on his log books. The second owner moved the boat to Lake Texoma, the freshwater lake bordering Oklahoma and Texas, where she remained for approximately twenty years. The third owner also kept the vessel on Lake Texoma before selling her after two years while learning to sail.
We purchased the boat in November 2021 and had her transported to Seabrook, Texas where we updated and prepared her for offshore cruising. In May 2022, we departed Texas and began full-time liveaboard cruising through the Gulf Coast, East Coast of Florida, and the Bahamas, returning annually to Titusville for bottom work and upgrades. In 2025, we sailed her to the Dominican Republic.
As lifelong boaters with experience owning both motor yachts and sailing yachts, this has been one of the most comfortable vessels we have owned. She is easy to sail, comfortable to live aboard, and turns heads everywhere we go. The two-cabin Catalina layout offers tremendous living space, and the years spent in freshwater greatly minimized corrosion. We also updated the vessel’s styling by changing the traditional Catalina blue accents to modern gray tones with updated pinstriping and detailing, giving her a unique and refreshed appearance.
The company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
