1989 Catalina 42 Deep-Draft Sloop With Many Recent Updates!
This 1989 Catalina 42 sailboat is ready to set sail. She has had over $50K invested in upgrades and improvements over the past 5 years and all she needs now is a little wind and someone to guide her to her next adventure!
The layout of this 42 footers is smart and roomy with plenty of room to move about, and with ample headroom, as well.
As with most Catalina sailboats, this sloop rigged cruiser has great accommodations. The main cabin or salon is open with a large comfortable dinette sofa and large TV; the galley features a three-burner gas stove, double sink, a converted refrigerator / freezer icebox and storage and counter space.
Midship you will find the main stateroom with double bed, dresser, wardrobe and plenty of storage. The forward head is roomy and features sink, toilet, shower and storage space.
Off the salon and just aft is another head with shower, sink and toilet a double berth and a second head with a shower. Also aft of the salon/galley are two single berths, one to the starboard side and one port of the cabin entrance. The berths are cozy and comfortable with plenty of storage space.
When it comes to sailing this Catalina was designed with simplicity in mind and you should find her responsive and easy to handle. Its large mainsail and genoa sail are both reported by the owner to be easy to handle.
