The Catalina 380 was the winner of the Mid- Size cruiser category in Cruising World's 1997 Boat of the Year Awards.
The owners made the necessary modifications to make Reanimation a capable distance cruiser. A cutter stay was added along with cabin top tracks for an adjustable lead with sheets led back to cabin top winches. A trysail track was added to the mast with blocks on the quarters to accept sheets. Runners were installed on the mast to provide additional support to the mast in high winds. A Dutchman boom brake was added to help prevent damaging gybes. A whisker pole and track is mounted on the front of the boom.
The sail inventory includes an asymmetric spinnaker in an ATN sock and staysail.
A Tides Marine mainsail track provides ease in lowering and raising the main. These changes to the sail plan provide great flexibility for trips far and wide.
