The LIBERTY is a good example of the Catalina 30 which is one of the most popular sailboats ever produced with over 6,000 built from 1976 through 2008! Built in 1984, she is the "Mark I" version and has the "standard" Catalina 30 sailplan, draft and interior layout.

The LIBERTY does feature a very good maintenance protocol over the years. She was repowered in 2005 with a UNIVERSAL M3-20B diesel that has only a few hundred hours logged since then. Her Dark Blue SUNBRELLA dodger and Bimini top are in nice shape. The relatively new GARMIN 700 GPS is a nice update as well. "Clean and simple" does have it's merits and especially at the relatively-low asking price!

Acquired by her present Owner in the Spring of 2014, the LIBERTY's Survey provided a good report that resulted in a purchase .. so that fact alone does take a lot of risk factors out the process of acquiring a boat of her vintage. Presently stored at our Brewer Yacht Yard facility in Mamaroneck, NY, the LIBERTY is easy to inspect. Given the implicit value for both the Catalina 30 and the LIBERTY in particular, appointments are to be encouraged for clients who are looking for a good buy for the 2017 Season!
