New to the market, this Catalac 10m is intended for cruising. All Catalac's were built by Tom Lack at the the Quay, Christchurch, Dorset, England. Intended to be able to handle the rough waters of the North Sea, some of these catamarans have come across the Atlantic on their own bottoms. A couple or small family will find there is plenty of room. The master cabin, located forward in the starboard hull has a double berth, large hanging locker, 2 forward facing windows, overhead hatch with screen and lots of storage. The guest cabin is forward in the port hull. It features two single berths, a bench seat, six drawers and two lockers.
The saloon area midships has a large U shaped settee that will accommodate 6-8 people. There are windows on three sides that provide plenty of light.
The boat is powered by twin Yanmar 30hp diesels with Saildrives, with 3400 hrs on each engine. Electronics include a Garmin 12" chartplotter with radar, Raymarine autopilot and a Standard Horizon VHF with AIS receiver, which is interfaced with the Garmin chartplotter.
Reverse cycle AC / HeatÃ?Â
The galley has a newer (2016) refrigerator/freezer, 4 burner stovetop and microwave.Ã?Â
A unique feature is the Nature's Head composting toilet. The original toilet is also included.Ã?Â
New batteries in January 2020- 2 house deep cycle, 2 starting.
Also included is an Avon fiberglass bottom inflatable with a 4hp Yamaha outboard.
