Overview

The Carver C-52 Command Bridge is a highly customizable luxury yacht designed to accommodate six overnight guests in three staterooms and two heads. Its layout emphasizes multiple social zones, providing ample gathering areas for large groups. The yacht features a strong build quality and upscale fit and finish, appealing especially to North American owner-operators seeking both comfort and functionality.

Interior Living Spaces

The main salon serves as the primary gathering area and impresses with its well-appointed cherry wood cabinetry finished with urethane. High ceilings ranging from 7 feet 4 inches in the galley to 6 feet 6 inches in the salon create an open and comfortable atmosphere, enhanced by surrounding windows that eliminate any sense of claustrophobia. The standard layout includes opposing seating: a wraparound couch with a convertible high-low table to port and a smaller couch or optional lower helm station to starboard, all upholstered in ultra leather. Climate control vents are discreetly integrated into overhead soffits, and cellular shades provide insulation. Entertainment is centered around a 42-inch TV with a sound bar and cabinetry housing components. The engineered wood flooring consists of plywood topped with three-eighths inch maple, and all furniture, cushions, and cabinetry are crafted in-house by Carver, allowing extensive customization.

Galley and Aft Deck

Located aft on the main deck and accessed via two 8-inch steps, the galley is centrally positioned between social areas. It offers 12 and a half feet of solid surface counters, with stone surfaces available on request. The galley includes a two-burner induction cooktop with overhead ventilation, a double-basin stainless steel sink with covers that store beneath, a microwave, dishwasher, freezer, and refrigerator, as well as ample storage compartments finished in high-gloss cherry wood. A window with pull-down blinds adds natural light. Glass doors open fully to seamlessly connect the galley with the aft deck, which features a transom bench seat interrupted only by the aft gate, a 94-inch port side seating area with an expandable solid cherry table, and a single starboard seat. Storage is integrated beneath the seats, including space for fenders. An ice maker and deck speakers are also present. The overhead extends seven feet above the deck, providing protection.

Exterior Design and Bridge

The exterior includes a 63-inch full fiberglass swim platform with a non-skid surface and an optional 58-inch hydraulic lift for easier launching of personal watercraft or creating a private beach. Access to the platform is via starboard side stairs, with a remote control stored in an enclosure. The platform features an undermount reboarding ladder exceeding NMMA certification standards. A large transom storage compartment can be customized for bilge access or crew space. Side decks measure 13 inches in width, maintaining safety with 24-inch high handrails mounted atop 6-inch toe rails, numerous grab rails, and 12-inch cleats positioned out of the trip zone. Forward seating is comfortable and convertible, separated by a console with stereo, padding, and beverage holders. The flying bridge is accessed by wide molded non-skid steps with storage underneath, leading to an aft U-shaped settee around a high-gloss hardwood table, a refreshment center with an electric grill, recessed sink, refrigerator, and storage. The hardtop stands 6 feet 5 inches above the deck, supported by robust stanchions, and includes an opening hatch.

Private Accommodations

The lower deck houses three staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom is accessed via a separate entry to ensure guest privacy and features 6 feet 5 inches of headroom with 44 inches above the 78 by 59 inch centerline berth. The deck is level throughout, easing movement without steps except near the berth. Amenities include a 40-inch bench beneath a hull side window, a 61-inch sofa, a 32-inch TV, and customizable furnishings such as vanities or chests of drawers. The en suite head is notable for its large walk-in shower with rainfall and wand showerheads, an L-shaped teak seat, and ventilation through an opening port. Forward, the VIP stateroom contains a 67 by 77 inch island berth with steps on both sides, hull side windows, an overhead hatch, and a 24-inch TV. It also has a private en suite head with a walk-in shower and skylight, which doubles as a day head with a second entrance from the companionway. The starboard stateroom features side-by-side berths measuring 75 inches in length with differing widths, a large hull side window, a 23-inch TV, and storage. Customization options include converting this space into a pantry or office. A stacked washer and dryer are conveniently located near the companionway.

Conclusion

The Carver C-52 Command Bridge is a well-built, strong yacht that combines upscale fit and finish with practical and appealing layouts. Its generous headroom, open spaces, and thoughtful features cater to the North American market and owner-operators seeking a luxurious yet functional vessel. The extensive in-house manufacturing allows for significant customization, making the C-52 a versatile and comfortable yacht for both socializing and private accommodations.
