The functionality of a cockpit motoryacht is provided by ease of movement, boarding and line handling under all conditions and the Carver 444 incorporates these aspects very well.
Boarding steps are found at the port & starboard sides of the cockpit, with the port staircase leading to the fully enclosed aft deck. Carver's unique raised walkdeck design provides protected gunwales port and starboard, meeting the aft deck wing doors on the same level.
The command bridge and aft deck are separated by just a few steps and afford all-weather lounging comfort. At the helm, a wide & comfortable captain's chair is positioned within easy reach of all controls & a full Raytheon navigation package and is surrounded by a large L-shaped settee and flanked by a companion seat and wet bar. The aft deck level features plenty of room for outdoor furnishings and also includes two large storage lockers.

Cabin entry is via a centerline white lexan slider. Maginficently decored throughout, this is a stunning interior in both deisgn and appointment. Wood finishes are high-gloss cherry and all salon upholstery is plush Ultraleather. Designer pillows and bedcoverings complete luxurious look.
At the base of the salon steps, an entertainment center and loveseat are to port. The loveseat will convert to a double sleeper. Opposite, to starboard, is an extended settee, with dual incliners. Extra roominess is provided in the salon by Carver's raised walkdeck exterior -- allowing the salon to use the full width of the 444's beam and brightening the room with two levels of windows.
The salon and galley are barrier-free, creating a "great room" feeling, with a broad forward windshield allowing plenty of light and scenery when needed. The galley is just two steps below the salon level and includes plenty of countertop area, refrigerator and freezer and an adjoining optional pantry cabinet.
Further forward is the very private guest stateroom, with ensuite head & shower -- with those compartments separated port & starboard. The stateroom includes a queen island berth, cedar-lined locker and an abundance of storage area.
The aft master stateroom is equally luxurious and also includes and ensuite head with stall shower, island queen with inner-spring mattress, dual nightstands with decorator countertops. A convenient sliding door leads to the cockpit from the master stateroom.
