2007 Carver Yachts 42 Super Sport

The Volvo Penta IPS 500 Pods drives were replaced with second generation IPS-B pods by Kozwell Boatworks in 2019. 

Pre 2009 Gen 1 IPS drives were fitted with a Bronze seal that when used in Saltwater were prone to failure. The Gen 2 Pods have replaced the seal with Stainless Steel. The pods in this boat are Gen 2 stainless steel.

The top deck flybridge is the extended model with a complete "second floor" of space. Custom furniture has dining for 8. The helm seats are double with a bench behind. There is a wet bar and refrigerator on the flybridge. Going below is a large aft cockpit. The main salon is huge with over 6-4 headroom. custom furniture has a long settee that makes into a queen bed. Table dining is mid cabin. Moving forward there is full galley with full size fridge/freezer. Forward are two cabins with  two heads. The master cabin has separate head and shower compartments. 

Under the galley is a "cellar" utility room with washer/dryer and huge storage space.
