The Cape Dory MS300 is a remarkably well-designed combination of features for the discerning cruising couple. On the wind, her powerful full size sailplan tacks within a remarkable 90° while her full keel keeps you on track. I have always been a fan of Pilothouse sailboats. There are so many advantages, particularly for cruising couples, it's surprising that there are so few designs on the market.
The Cape Dory 30s were built in the US to very high standards, which accounts for their cult-like status and broad appeal. Built with a full keel that, at less than 4', is essentially 'shoal draft'.
