GRACE was built by Cape Cod Ship Building in 1963, and is a historically significant example of the shields class. Built just a year after the class was founded, GRACE is nevertheless one of the best-maintained Shields you can find today.
Fully refinished by Concordia Company in 2006, and professionally cared for, GRACE features a flag blue Awlgrip topside paint, awhite bottom, and brightwork that is redone annually (already done in 2026). Grace has been stored inside for the past 20 winters.
Other highlights include a recent canvas cockpit cover (2020), recent and lightly used Harding sails (2021), bottom stripped with new barrier coat and vivid white ablative paint (2023), and new stays (2024).
GRACE is a spectacular classic daysailer and one-design racing platform, and is available for showings.
