Construction and Exterior Features
The Calcutta 263 employs 100% wood-free construction, utilizing hand-laid biaxial and triaxial fiberglass materials that contribute to durability and longevity beyond the standard 10-year hull warranty. A foam-filled compartment in the bow enhances safety by preventing water ingress in case of hull damage. The boat features a thick rub rail for dock protection, stainless steel line guides, and pop-up cleats and lights that maintain a clean, unobstructed deck surface. The casting deck is bordered by a pronounced toe edge, aiding anglers in spatial awareness during fishing activities. Storage is ample, with a 350-quart fish box and two large in-deck storage compartments designed to keep gear secure and dry.
Power and Performance
This model is powered by twin Honda EFI 90 horsepower outboard engines, incorporating Honda's latest blast technology and boosted low-speed torque derived from their automotive FIT engine platform.
