As well loved by her owners as was the Greek Goddess who inspired her name, PERSEPHONE has been beautifully maintained and nicely upgraded.  The last or next to last CAL 39 built, she has always been a New England boat though she did cruise to FL one winter.  With her two spacious staterooms and numerous upgrades, she will be an easy boat for her new owner to get into.

Introduction: "This boat will match speed, performance, and interior appointments against any other boat in its size range.  CAL has made a conscious decision to produce a moderately priced boat with sailing characteristics and an interior level of finish formerly only found on expensive limited production yachts".  C. Raymond Hunt Associates was given free rein to produce an underbody and rig which would give superior cruising performance, as well as being competitive under PHRF" (1988 Review).
