Performance
The CABO 35 Flybridge will get owners to the bite like no other boat her size. Her deep-V hull rides exceptionally soft in choppy head seas and is one of the driest, most comfortable fishing platforms in the business. This impeccable running bottom is further separated from the competition by its manufacturing process and materials. Solid and lightweight vinylester resins are used throughout, with stitched biaxial fiberglass roving further strengthening the hull without adding excess pounds. State-of-the-art coring materials are used where appropriate to reduce load and to enhance performance, but never at the expense of CABO's celebrated strength.
Deck & HullThe hull is gleaming white gelcoat with a black bootstripe. The bottom has standard black bottom paint with two coats of epoxy barrier coating. The CABO hull is molded with premium vinylester resins and bi-axial stitched fabric reinforcement. The hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline with core construction from the chines to sheer. The hull to deck joint is shoebox type construction joined with both mechanical fasteners, fiberglassed together and then covered with a stainless and PVC rub rail. Decks receive a molded in non-skid finish in white gelcoat. All deck hardware is highly polished stainless steel including cleats, chocks and a West Coast bow rail. Topping all of this is a custom C-Fab cantilevered stainless steel and fiberglass hardtop with molded-in 110v flood lights and a custom 3-side enclosure.
In 1999, Cabo retooled her from the keel up to incorporate technical improvements and increase accessibility to her systems and components. More than 300 hulls now fish the oceans of the world, making the 35 Flybridge one of our best-selling models ever.
Electronics & FishabilityA very thorough but user friendly electronics package keeps u0022Incognito IIu0022 on course and in the hunt for fish.
Made by fishermen for fishermen, the 35 Flybridge's offshore sporting prowess is professional-grade. Accommodating up to four stand-up anglers, the cockpit measures an astounding 130 square feet - unsurpassed acreage in a 35-footer. Padded bolsters ring the cockpit for enhanced comfort when bringing big fish to the outward-opening transom door with top gate. Tackle and gear are easily organized in 12 custom-built drawers at two rigging stations.
ElectricalCABO has always been known for their superb wiring and electrical systems. The main panel is located in the companionway and has a custom AC electrical distribution panel with line voltage and load meter and reverse polarity indicator, custom DC electrical distribution panel with battery voltage and load meter and all backlit circuit breakers throughout.

Overview
The Cabo 38 Flybridge represents the latest iteration in Cabo's lineup, marking the first new Flybridge model introduced in over two years following the earlier release of the 38 Express. Designed with serious anglers in mind, this vessel combines robust fishing capabilities with comfortable accommodations, aiming to meet the needs of those passionate about offshore fishing and extended cruising.
Exterior Design and Fishing Features
The cockpit of the Cabo 38 Flybridge is purpose-built for fishing action, featuring a configurable fighting pit and ample storage options including freezers located on the port side adjacent to the salon and large fish lockers that can also serve as general storage during transit. The center sole locker provides convenient access to critical systems such as fuel shutoffs, bilge strainers, pumps, and through-hulls, enhancing maintenance efficiency. A notable addition is the Peek-A-Boo stern livewell with a double-opening lid integrated into the stern wall, facilitating easy access to live bait. The stairway to the flybridge is designed for ease of use, allowing effortless movement between decks.
Flybridge Layout and Helm Station
The flybridge accommodates the entire crew comfortably with ample seating, making it an inviting space for both underway transit and fishing excursions. The helm station is thoughtfully arranged to maximize space, allowing installation of large 15-inch electronic displays. Adjacent to the helm is a built-in cooler, providing convenient access to refreshments without the need to descend below deck. The flybridge enclosure is engineered with practical features such as seam placement aligned with support bars to prevent leaks and a ventilation system integrated into the glass panels, ensuring airflow even when the enclosure is closed. The captain's chair stands out for its robust construction and ergonomic design, including sufficient clearance behind the seat to facilitate movement and operational tasks.
Engine Room and Mechanical Systems
The engine compartment is fully finished, presenting a clean and organized environment that simplifies upkeep and enhances aesthetics. The vessel is equipped with twin 800 horsepower engines, providing ample power for offshore performance. An integrated dewatering system is installed, allowing the engines to pump out water in the event of flooding or mechanical failure, an important safety feature that underscores the boat's offshore readiness.
Interior Living Spaces
The salon interior reflects Cabo's commitment to quality craftsmanship, featuring finely finished cabinetry and woodwork. The dining table is fixed in height but offers excellent accessibility from all sides. The entertainment area is thoughtfully integrated, with the television framed in matching wood trim to complement the overall design. Window treatments also receive careful finishing touches, contributing to a cohesive and polished interior ambiance.
Private Accommodations
Below deck, the Cabo 38 Flybridge offers two staterooms, including a spacious master suite. The master provides comfortable access to both sides of the bed and ample space for morning routines. However, storage capacity is somewhat limited, particularly in terms of hanging locker space, which may be a consideration for those planning extended trips. Despite this, the accommodations balance comfort and functionality suitable for overnight stays.
Conclusion
The Cabo 38 Flybridge successfully blends fishing utility with comfortable living spaces, making it a compelling choice for anglers seeking a capable offshore vessel with refined accommodations. Its thoughtful design features, robust mechanical systems, and quality finishes position it as a strong contender within its class, likely to attract buyers looking for both performance and comfort in a mid-sized flybridge boat.
